CaptureGem has no NVENC preset, rate-control, or GPU-session control in its recording Settings. The number of live captures is not determined by an NVENC encoding-session limit because the app normally saves stream-provided video.

If you use a separate video editor or FFmpeg workflow to create smaller copies of finished files, that tool may offer NVENC settings. Test those settings with one completed video, compare the output, and keep the source until you have verified playback. Do not change display drivers or apply unofficial session-limit patches to solve a CaptureGem recording problem; first check network, disk space, and conversion status.
