Multiple recordings: bandwidth and storage limits
Each active stream uses download bandwidth and writes media to temporary storage before a finished file is available. Add the actual source bitrates for the models you record, then leave headroom for bitrate changes and other network use. For example, ten streams averaging 4 Mb/s require about 40 Mb/s of incoming media before overhead.
Both the temporary and finished-video folders need free space. Network stability, disk write behavior, and CPU work during finalization matter more than an NVENC session count because CaptureGem does not encode each live stream on the GPU. A lower resolution is useful only when the source offers it and the app can select it for that site.
Increase concurrency gradually and inspect completed media, duration, and errors. Keep interrupted source data for recovery. See benchmarking and GPU acceleration.
