Do two GPUs increase recording capacity?
CaptureGem does not expose --gpu or --ffmpeg-flags recording options, or a config.yaml map that assigns models to GPUs. Its ordinary stream capture does not start an NVENC encoder for each model. A second GPU is therefore not a direct way to double the number of recordings.
Measure download bandwidth, temporary and final storage, CPU use during finalization, and actual completed-file quality before buying extra hardware. Dual GPUs may be useful for a separate editing or playback workflow, but that workflow must be configured and tested in its own software. Avoid using unverified stream-count benchmarks as a purchase target.
