Scaling recordings: network, storage, and CPU

CaptureGem downloads the media supplied by a stream. The normal recording path does not encode every stream with x264 or NVENC. Some finished files need repair or re-encoding, which can use CPU after capture.

Temporary segments and finished filesFree space and write behavior on both folders

Add streams gradually, inspect the completed files, and keep headroom for bitrate spikes and conversion work. A GPU encoding-session limit or an advertised stream count cannot substitute for a test on your machine. See benchmarking.
