Recording high-resolution streams reliably
CaptureGem records the quality a supported source provides. It cannot turn a lower-resolution stream into true 4K/60, and its Settings do not expose NVENC, Quick Sync, keyframe interval, or target bitrate controls for live capture.
For a high-bitrate stream, verify the source quality first. Then check that your download connection stays stable and that both temporary and finished-video folders have space. A 15 Mb/s source averages about 1.9 MB/s of media before overhead; several simultaneous streams add together. Finalization or repair can continue after a stream ends, so inspect the completed video before moving or deleting source files.
If the app reports a problem, use troubleshooting and multi-stream capacity instead of changing an encoder setting the app does not have.
