Will GPU overclocking improve recordings?
CaptureGem normally saves the video delivered by a stream and does not run a GPU encoder per live recording. Overclocking a GPU is therefore not a supported capture-capacity setting. It also introduces stability risk to a machine expected to record for long periods.
If recordings fail or end incomplete, inspect the app’s status and logs, network interruptions, available space on temporary and finished-video drives, and whether conversion has completed. Keep the source data while diagnosing. A GPU can matter for playback or external editing, but tune that separate tool only after measuring it.
