Watching Saved Recordings on Another Device
CaptureGem saves recordings on the computer or storage folder you configure. It does not provide a mobile streaming service or a separate “Favorites” output path. To watch a recording on a phone or headset, first confirm that the finished file plays on the recording computer.
You can copy a finished file to another device, or use a private file share or media server that you configure and maintain separately. Give that service access only to the finished-video folder you intend to share. Keep temporary segments, retained source media, logs, and config.json out of shared libraries.
Playback quality depends on the file’s source codec and the receiving device. If a player cannot open a file, try another compatible player or create a separate converted copy; preserve the original until the new file has been checked.
