Playing CaptureGem VR Recordings
CaptureGem can save available VR streams as recordings, but the correct playback settings depend on the source and the VR player. A file can be valid yet look flat or distorted when the player uses the wrong projection, stereo layout, or field of view.
Start by opening the finished recording and confirming that it plays normally. In your player, try the stereo layout and projection that match the original stream; side-by-side and fisheye are possibilities for some sources, not universal CaptureGem defaults. Adjust field of view until the image looks natural, then save a player preset for that source if your player supports it.
CaptureGem does not guarantee that every file contains spatial metadata a player can detect automatically. Keep the original file while testing settings, and check recording troubleshooting if the video itself is incomplete or unplayable.
