Recording settings that matter
CaptureGem records the video delivered by a supported stream. The desktop app does not provide a live-capture FPS, target-bitrate, or NVENC encoder preset. File size depends mainly on the source bitrate and recording duration.
Start by choosing the models to record, their Auto Record mode if you want unattended saved videos, a resolution available for each site, and folders for finished videos and temporary segments. Keep free space on both folders. Test one recording through completion, then open the finished file and check duration, video, and audio when the source has it.
For multiple streams, add them gradually and measure network and storage use. If finalization fails, keep the temporary data for recovery. See file locations and multi-stream limits.
