CaptureGem on Linux: desktop setup and unattended use

The Linux CaptureGem desktop AppImage starts an Electron window and a recording daemon. Use a graphical session for the normal app workflow. A separate supported option on Linux x86_64 is to extract the bundled recorderd and matching tools from the CaptureGem AppImage and run the daemon without the desktop. Set up an unattended desktop session
- Run the current Linux package in a graphical user session and complete normal sign-in and model setup.
- For models you want saved automatically, choose Record Always or Record With Expiry if available under your plan. Monitor Always watches without saving a finished video.
- Keep the session active and prevent system sleep during recording.
- Choose recording and temporary folders with enough free space. Recheck the app after restarts and leave incomplete source data in place for recovery.
Use standalone recorderd on a private Linux machine
Use binaries from the same release and confirm local operation before enabling the user service. The standalone daemon’s HTTP and proxy ports have no authentication and listen on network interfaces, so block untrusted inbound access before starting it.
